The cold is coming.
The streets dressed in barren leaves are stripped to be decked out in sparkling golden lights. The houses become homes to the warmth of the firewood, the smell of freshly cooked food.
The cold is approaching, and like every December it is the expected moment for reunions. These are the days and nights of infinite hugs, of dinners that stretch between glasses of cava. The moments of laughter, of anecdotes, of memories of a year of experiences. Moments where lives come together, paths cross, feelings emerge and emotions are palpable.
A toast to the air for those who are no longer by our side ... for the beautiful memories they left in everything they did, an empty chair in body, but the soul more present than ever.
And some children who run incessantly around the tree. Laughter and laughter of innocent games waiting for the big night, the desired prize of a whole year. A fear of black and sweet coal, and a longing desire to tear the wrapping paper to see if they did well, all the year they have lived.
And it is that Christmas is an explosion of Emotions. A moment to take stock of the year lived around a table, to unearth unfulfilled dreams, the projects that remained in words, to toast the achievements, to share the goals achieved. And so, with cava and 12 grapes, to the sound of prevailing chimes: 12 dreams, 12 months, 12 wishes that will mark the new year that is born between confetti and kisses.
The cold is coming
Let's live Christmas, with body and soul, sharing emotions without fear, forgiving the mistakes of others with the same condescension that we forgive our own. Let's get excited for those who are gone and give them the most important thing in life: live intensely, live without fear of living, squeeze the days as if they were the last. Let's give the little ones in the house more love, more understanding, more time and fewer toys. Because the most beautiful thing, they already have it, although they have not yet come to appreciate it.
